Antique sterling silver sherry decanter wine label by John Bettridge 1826.
Fruiting fauna and flora designed sherry decanter label depicting neoclassical scene with chased form. Hand engraved sherry lettering, circular plain linked chain with a full set of Birmingham assay marks to reverse. Date letter, makers mark, George IV duty mark, lion passant and anchor town mark for Birmingham.
The silver label is in good order, marks light in places with all legible. Makers mark IB has been marked upside down to the other assay marks. The decanter label chain is in good order with all links secure.
